Where to stay if you are going to study at the University of Córdoba, UCO?

👋 ¡Hello to all future students, both national and international, Erasmus, of the University of Córdoba (UCO)! 🎓 We want to provide you with information about the different campuses of UCO! Your choice of accommodation during your stay in Córdoba will largely depend on the campus where you will be studying.

🏫 The University of Córdoba has three university campuses:

1️⃣ Humanities and Social and Legal Sciences Campus: It houses several faculties, including:

1.- Faculty of Labour Sciences (Labour Relations and Tourism studies)
2.- Faculty of Law and Economic and Business Sciences (Law, Business Administration)

3.- Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities (Translation and Interpretation, Hispanic Philology, English Studies, Art History and History)

4.- Faculty of Education Sciences and Psychology (Early Childhood Education and Primary Education).

2️⃣ Health Sciences Campus: This campus houses:

1.- Faculty of Medicine (Medicine)
2.- School of Nursing (Nursing)

3️⃣ Agro-Food, Science and Technology Campus of Rabanales: Here you will find:

1.- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (Veterinary, Food Science and Technology)
2.- Higher Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineers (Agri-food and Rural Engineering, Oenology)

3.- Faculty of Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Physics, and Biochemistry)

4.- Polytechnic School (Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Mechanics, Computer Science)

1.-🚉 If you are going to study at the Rabanales Campus, we recommend that you stay in the neighborhoods near the Córdoba train station. A good place is the Ciudad Jardín neighborhood, which is a vibrant and highly commercial area with a student atmosphere throughout its streets.

🌳 Although Ciudad Jardín is one of the most popular neighborhoods, it may also be interesting to stay in streets very close to the train station, as its proximity to the station can also be advantageous for taking the train daily to the Rabanales Campus.

2.-🏥 For the Health Sciences Campus, the closest area to look for accommodation is the Parque Cruz Conde area, although many students prefer to stay in other areas like Ciudad Jardín or the city center, which have more commercial activity and are also well-connected to the Health Sciences Campus. 🏢… it’s all about preference!

3.-🏰 If you’re enrolled in the Faculty of Law or Philosophy, a magical area to live in is the historic center of the city. Did you know that Córdoba’s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? It’s true! You will fall in love with its streets and enjoy a privileged environment if you live there.

🌟 If you’re studying at the Faculty of Philosophy, another option is to stay in the Ciudad Jardín neighborhood. If your faculty is Labour Sciences, the city center or historic center can also be great options for you.
